For the past 13 years Duarte Design of Mountain View, California has celebrated Halloween with a pumpkin carving contest.
When a design firm such as Duarte holds a pumpkin carving contest you can always expect the results to be incredible. Duarte is – after all – a creative design firm. So it’s only fitting that this Halloween you look for creative inspiration at the 13th annual Duarte Pumpkin Contest!
From an M&M character, pumpkins baking pies, Batman, fashion symbols, symbols of the current US economy and a lot of other creative designs, these pumpkins are something else.

Looking through all of these carvings makes me wish I could carve a little bit better.
