Motivation Monday: Illustrated Mad Men.

Searching for creative motivation or inspiration? Each Monday you can find all of the creative insight you need right here at Creative Something, with “Motivation Monday”.
If you ever wanted to see what living in the 60s was like, you need to catch on to AMC’s Emmy and Golden Globe winning television show: Mad Men.
The show focuses on Don Draper, an advertising executive for an agency located on New York City’s Madison Avenue (thus the name “Mad Men”). And, while the show is highly appealing to creative types (for the accurate use of 60s design and fashion), Mad Men has also attracted a lot of attention from everyone else it seems. Even my girlfriend is slightly hooked on the show.
So – being addicted to the show myself – is it any surprise that I wanted to use some incredible Mad Men illustrations for this weeks’ Motivation Monday?
Fellow fan and remarkable illustrator Dyna Moe put together a great series of Mad Men illustrations.
Dyna has illustrated 36 scenes/portraits/posters from the series, and each is just as classic–looking as the show itself!
Like Mad Man, the illustrations look like they came straight out of the 60s; an era full of radical trends and cool design (or so I’m told). Take a look at the illustrations, download one for your computer wallpaper and one for your iPhone wallpaper, and be sure to send Dyna a message telling her how much you appreciate her illustrating skills.
