Walls are full of inspiration.

“When spiders unite they can tie up a lion.”
That was the quote that inspired my creativity, lazily marked on a graffiti–covered USPS envelope, taped to a metallic post. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to discover those words in real life, but rather from a unique website that – in it’s own words – is a gallery of walls with stuff written on them.
An inspiring quote, a humorous saying, faces drawn on cement blocks; these are just a few of the creative ideas you can find in the web gallery.
So, why should you care?
Because this gallery has everything you need to find creative inspiration today. Everything. There are 7 albums in the gallery, each filled with ways that somebody else has taken something as simple as a wall or post and made it into something extraordinary.
Who knew that you could turn a regular cement block, sitting in the center of a wide sidewalk, and use a marker to create an elaborate facial expression that makes anyone passing by stop and look, puzzled.
Here’s a challenge for you today: take something that you see everyday (it can be a computer, a pair of pants, a window, anything) and find a way to make it into something else. Afterall: seeing things differently – from a different perspective – is the basis of creativity.
It all starts with a little inspiration.
