Recently I discovered how inspirational home design and decor can be. No thanks to Desire to Inspire, hundreds of other people are discovering how inspirational home design can be as well.
In a recent post, Desire to Inspire received an email about an article in a magazine that focuses on a custom–built (not just the home, but the furnishings as well) home.
The photos from the article are amazing.
Especially inspiring to me is the dining area. I don’t find the dining room to be inspirational just because it was made from scratch, but because it doesn’t follow regular guidelines. When you think of a dining area you would hardly ever think to put hard wood on the ceiling and grey–colored carpet for the floor

But let me warn you: browsing around that blog might make you understand how inspirational home design can really be, and you may end up subscribing to it (or you may just end up wishing you had a house that was that cool, like I did).
It just goes to show you that you can find inspiration in a lot of different places; including where you are (most likely) sitting right now.
