Motivation Monday: Best of Ffffound.

Searching for creative motivation or inspiration? Each Monday you can find all of the creative insight you need right here at Creative Something, with “Motivation Monday”.
Are you looking for some remarkable, creative inspiration? Consider it found. If you haven’t already looked through 10 of the greatest web sources for creative inspiration - or even if you have - then you’ll be pleased to know that today’s Motivation Monday is all about finding creative inspiration online.
One of the previous web sources of creative inspiration that I have mentioned is Ffffound.com (WARNING: some content is not safe for viewing at work or around children), a great place where creative professionals post images that are interesting, beautiful, or just plain creative.
Ffffound is described as “a web service that not only allows the users to post and share their favorite images found on the web, but also dynamically recommends each user’s tastes and interests for an inspirational image-bookmarking experience!”
While Ffffound is currently invitation-only, anyone can view the public streamline of the latest pictures by users; which means you won’t always find the absolute best creative images on the homepage.
Because you shouldn’t have to waste your time when searching for creative inspiration - and because I want to provide you with a valuable resource this Monday - I have put together a list of some of the best images found on Ffffound.com.
Shadow play shows a child looking at a creative use of graffiti on a wall. How is the graffiti creative? It plays with shadows, not just a drawn image or tag.
Underwater pool is an actual exhibit where a small pool lays above an empty room. The brilliance behind this is that it makes anyone beneath the pool look as if they are breathing underwater.
The power of books shows just how powerful books can be. An explosion of the mind, if you will.
Silhouette masterpiece theatre is a beautiful and entertaining picture of a bear and a boy meeting in a fairytale-style painting. Using only silhouetted figures, we get to see what happens when humans play with bears.
Car parts really puts things in perspective; showing hundreds and hundreds of parts that go into an automobile, all the while looking like a toy.
How to photograph a design poster makes great use of photos with pictures photographing their design posters.
Places by one of my favorite designers, Chuck Anderson, is a great foray into the use of lights and colors. If only it were real, right?
eboy Tokyo shop is pixel art at it’s finest. The amount of detail that went into this unique poster is unbelievable. Click it.
Dare to Break the Rules All Of The Crap They Send Me: All the crap which fills up my email shows a bird breaking the rules of us humans. Or does it? It’s actually a photo that has been digitally edited, but the message and resulting image are inspiring.
These images are truly inspiring, and will hopefully help motivate your creativity this week. For more design and creativity inspiration, visit: Ffffound.com (Again, WARNING: some content is not safe for viewing at work or around children).
